For the first issue of 2017, I pitched a beauty shoot that combines two things most women love: Manicures and cocktails. After conceptualizing nail design and drink pairings that play off of each other, manicurist Julie Kandalec created the looks. In the six-page feature, I included tips on how to recreate the manis at-home, cocktail recipes, and interviewed renowned body language expert Dr. Lillian Glass about the non-verbal cues you convey at a party.
